Sand is a natural material used in construction industries as a par of concrete mix. Different types of sand available locally are:
- Beach Sand
- Dune Sand (Desert Celica Sand)
- Natural Wadi Sand
Beach sand is usually excavated from the beach area and washed in fresh water for elimination of Sulphates (SO4) chlorides (Cl) along with organic impurities such as clay and silt. The common method used as one of the step where the product would often be considered as clean and marketed for the construction industries.
